Before trying to solve a problem, you first need to define it. Here are some tips on how to properly define what your problem is:
- Focus on the problem itself. Ask yourself the following questions:
- What is the situation? (e.g. I have a noob team again)
- What would I like the situation to be? (e.g. I would like others to play as good as me)
- What is the obstacle that is keeping me from my desired situation? (e.g. I’m unsure how to talk to other players about their lack of skill)
You can then put your problem into a sentence. For example, the problem is that my team are noobs; I would like to play with such good players as me, but I’m not sure how to talk to ohters about their lack of skill .
